Oliver Kay of the Times chimes in with his EPL team of the decade :
As with most such lists, there will be disagreements. However, this list has some striking deficiencies. First of all, having Gerrard at right back simply because he isn't good enough to make it into the middle is funny. That spot should go to Neville. Would you pick Lampard over Scholes? Really? And I don't care who you are - player of the decade is not really up for debate. He's still running rings around players half his age and his name is Ryan Giggs.End of story.Team of the decade (4-3-3): B Friedel — S Gerrard, R Ferdinand, J Terry, A Cole — P Vieira, R Keane, F Lampard — C Ronaldo, T Henry, R Giggs.
Player of the decade: Henry for quality, Lampard for consistency.
Manager of the decade: Sir Alex Ferguson. At least that much is beyond argument.
